Roots in the Woods is a boutique sound system culture festival set in the forests of the Pohorje Mountains, Slovenia. Eighth edition is taking place from 20–22 August 2026, and it brings together reggae, dub, drum’n’bass, jungle, dancehall, ska and related genres, with a strong focus on high-quality sound, nature, and community.
With a limited capacity of 500 visitors, the festival offers an intimate, eco-conscious, family and dog friendly experience that promotes well-being, creativity, and a deeper connection to nature.
